LOUISA COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) - The mother accused of giving her teething baby a lethal dose of Benadryl was granted $50,000 bond Monday in Louisa County court.

As part of the bond conditions, Tristan T. Goodwin, 31, must live with her grandmother in Danville, cannot be alone with a child under 12 years old and must adhere to a 9 p.m. curfew.

Earlier this month Goodwin was charged with Involuntary Manslaughter and Child Abuse and Neglect. Her six-month-old son Tyler died in March. Lab results indicated Tyler had four times the recommend dose of Benadryl in his system when he died.

Family members and investigators do not believe Goodwin intentionally killed the child.
