CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WTVR)--Count after count, the paper trail of court documents on Lawrence Sayers sheds light on his legal tangles.

Indictments from Chesterfield County Circuit court show two charges of aggravated sexual battery against a child less than 13, taking indecent liberties with a minor and attempted object sexual penetration.

Sayers was arrested back in May. According to court documents, he has since pleaded guilty to these charges in Chesterfield.

Documents revealed the charges against Sayers stem back to November 2012.

Off-camera the mother of one of his victims told CBS news her eight-year-old daughter will now receive intensive counseling because of this.

CBS 6 also learned that another person has been arrested in connection with Sayers crimes.

A Chesterfield grand jury also indicted his wife Alicia Marie Sayers last month on a felony child endangerment charge.

Alicia Sayers heads to trial January 8th.

Additionally, Lawrence Sayers faces federal charges. If convicted he could spend  up to thirty years in federal prison for his crimes. Sayers has pleaded guilty to four counts of producing child porn.

The federal charges stem from evidence obtained when Chesterfield police executed a search warrant on his Chesterfield home in May.

Police seized two cell phones that included 40 pictures and five videos showing a man engaged in sexual activity with a juvenile.

According to federal court documents Sayers admitted to the FBI that he is the man in the video sexually abusing a young girl.

He will be sentenced on those federal charges in January.
