RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – The jackpot for Friday’s Mega Millions drawing has grown to an estimated $400 million, according to the Virginia Lottery. It is the second-largest jackpot in Mega Millions history, and the fifth-largest ever in North America, the lottery announced in a press release.

“The Virginia Lottery expects to sell more than 1.9 million Mega Millions tickets in the Commonwealth on Friday alone,” a lottery spokesman said.
