HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) - Fire officials are on scene at a residence in Glen Allen where they said a vehicle crashed into a garage of a 2-story house.

Crews received a call at 6:25 p.m. to the 5600 block of Stone Lake Drive and arrived on scene around 6:30 p.m.

Captain Daniel Rosenbaum said the driver, described as a middle-aged man, was trapped inside the car until 6:50 p.m.  The roof of the garage collapsed onto the car, so crews had to cut the man out from the rear.

The man suffered moderate injuries and was transported to VCU Medical Center.

Authorities are not releasing the man's identity at this time.  They are still investigating the cause of this crash.
