CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) - The all clear has been given at Johnston-Willis Hospital after it was placed on lockdown following a bomb threat Friday afternoon. The threat was called into the Chesterfield hospital, police told CBS 6.
Chesterfield and Virginia State Police investigated the threat.
"Johnston- Willis is currently on lockdown, meaning no one is allowed to enter the building, but employees can enter if and only if they have a badge," hospital spokeswoman Malorie Burkett wrote in an email prior to the all clear.
"There is no indication that there was ever a bomb on the premises," Chesterfield Police spokeswoman Elizabeth Caroon wrote in an email. "Police did not order an evacuation of the hospital."
