GLEN ALLEN, Va. (WTVR) – More than two weeks after they were discovered, abandoned on the road, these two dogs are still looking for their “forever home.”

The dogs, spotted last month near the intersection of Ashland and Pouncey Tract Rds., were taken in by the Pouncey Tract Veterinary Hospital.

DSCN0487Ever since then, hospital workers have searched for the dogs’ owner, but no one has come forward to claim the dogs.

“We have tried desperately to find their home but each lead came up empty,” Whitney Mowbray wrote in a flier about finding the dogs a permanent home.

She called the basset hound mix “very social” and the beagle a “sweet girl that loves to cuddle.”

She said both dogs have been spayed/neutered and both are up to date on their vaccines.

For more information about the dogs, call Pouncey Tract Vet at 804-364-4444.
