RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) -- Five days before Thanksgiving, hundreds of Richmond's homeless and poor were fed and clothed.

This weekend, the fifth annual RVA Feed the City event took placeĀ in Monroe Park. Richmond's neediest are provided with food, clothing and shoes. Organizers also offered free haircuts, health screenings and employment services.

Last year, RVA Feed the City provided for 1,500 men, women and children and are hoping they helped even more this time around.
