Squirrel knocks out power in South Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) — Around 1500 customers are without power in South Richmond Wednesday evening.

Dominion Power’s David Botkins told CBS 6 News that a squirrel that got inside a substation transformer and knocked out power around 5 p.m.

Crews said they hope to have the power restored by 7 p.m.
