ACCOMACK COUNTY, Va. (WTKR) --  The primary suspect charged in a string of arson cases on Virginia's Eastern Shore pleaded guilty to all charges in court Thursday morning.

Charlie Smith is charged with 68 counts of arson and conspiracy to commit arson.

Investigators allege Smith and fiancée, Tonya Bundick, ignited more than 75 fires between last November and early April.

Smith faces up to 584 years in prison and over $5 million in fines when he is sentenced in December.

Smith's guilty plea was not part of any deal. There was no mention of whether he will testify against Bundick once her trial begins.
