Missing Albemarle County teen home safe

ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) — There is new information about an Albemarle County teen that disappeared Friday night but returned home Saturday morning.

WCAV reports Albemarle County Police said Tuesday that they know the identities of everyone involved in the possible abduction of 16-year-old Fiona Erskine.

Fiona Erskine MissingThe statement also said that it is now a matter of determining exactly what crimes occurred so that proper charges can be brought.

The release also said “…that the incident was not a random act and the parties involved were not unknown to each other.”

Erskine, a student at Albemarle High School, disappeared Friday night, while taking pictures near her bus stop. Her parents found her phone laying outside around 11 p.m.

A neighbor picked up the teen, who walking on Rio Road around 10 a.m. Saturday morning, and took her home.
