Woman charged after multi-vehicle wreck on I-95

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Virginia State Police said a woman was charged with reckless driving and failure to maintain control after a multiple-vehicle crash on I-95 north Sunday.

The wreck happened around noon near mile marker 76 at Belvidere Street in Richmond.

Police said 20-year-old Anna Watson was driving a Saturn that hydroplaned. After she lost control, her car slammed into two other vehicles.

Three people suffered minor injuries and were transported to the hospital.

Lanes were closed while the accident scene was cleared.
