RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Richmond police are investigating a shooting in the Gilpin Court area.
Police received a call around 10:30 Saturday morning for a shooting that happened on the steps of a residence on the 100 block of West Federal Street.
When they arrived on scene, they found a black man in his 20’s with a gunshot wound to his upper left thigh. He was taken to VCU Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Police currently do not have any information on a suspect.
The investigation is ongoing.
