Suspect robs woman near VCU campus

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - A robbery prompted Virginia Commonwealth University to send an alert stating an armed subject was on campus Friday night.

Richmond police said a man robbed a woman at the intersection of Ryland and West Broad Street, which is near VCU's main campus, just before 8:15 p.m.

According to officials, the suspect fled on a bike.  The suspect is described as a black man wearing a black jacket.
