HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – A Maryland man has been charged following a deadly crash on Interstate 295 in Hanover.

Tony C. McDonald, 47, of Fort Meade, Md., was charged with one felony count of involuntary manslaughter and two felony counts of Child Endangerment in connection to the Sept. 27 crash.

Police said McDonald’s Toyota Camry slammed into a AAA service truck and Toyota Highlander that had stopped along the side of I-295 last month due to a flat tire.

The impact sent the service truck into the driver of the Highlander. Bobby G. Hadaway, 76, of Leland, N.C., died on scene.
