Hopewell police arrest store owners for spice

HOPEWELL, Va. – Hopewell Police report they’ve arrested several local store owners and managers for selling spice.

Five people were charged with distribution of synthetic cannbinoids, or spice. Police told CBS 6 the spice was sold under different brand names and sometimes packaged as incense.

The businesses where the suspects were arrested are Cigarette City on Cavalier Street and Golden Express on the 100 block of South 15th avenue.
