HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) -- Questions remain as to why federal agents searched a local hardwood flooring store Thursday.

Homeland Security confirms agents searched a Lumber Liquidators store in Henrico and officials were also at the company's headquarters in James City County Thursday afternoon. A spokesman told CBS 6 the search started around 10 a.m. Thursday morning.

CBS 6 reporter, Chelsea Rarrick went to the office on West Broad Street. A manager spoke to her off camera, but directed all questions to a firm based out of Mineappolis.

When we contacted them, we were sent this statement on behalf of the company:

"We are cooperating to provide information and documentation to answer the questions being asked... relating to the importation of certain products."

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) served the search warrant at both locations, along with U.S. Fish and Wildlife service and the Justice Department.

Agents said the  warrant is sealed, so no information will be released about the search at this time.

At the Toano headquarters Thursday, business appeared to be continuing as usual as customers and employees freely came and went after being checked at the entrance by a Lumber Liquidators employee.
