Chesterfield police ID man struck, killed by train
CHESTERFIELD, Va (WTVR) — Chesterfield police have released the name of a man who died after being hit by a train early Saturday morning.
It happened around 1:30 a.m. on Kingsland Road about 1 mile south of Dalebrook Drive.
Investigators said 54-year-old Darrel W. Hodson, of the 4700 block of Falling Creek Circle, was struck by a north bound train about a mile south of Dalebrook Drive.
Authorities don’t know why he was on the tracks.
