Alexandria Air Force veteran expecting transplant found in Richmond

UPDATE: Sergeant Thomas Molnar with Virginia State Police said that Henrico Police had received a call about a suspicious male subject possibly needing medical assistance, in the 1500 block of North Parham Road–near Regency Square.

After media reports, the unidentified male subject was positively identified as Douglas A. Jordan.  He has been transported by ambulance to the hospital for medical attention
RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR)–Alexandria Police are asking for the public’s help locating a missing Air Force veteran scheduled for surgery.

Douglas Anthony Jordan, age 51, was reported missing in Alexandria, Va. However, on Wednesday, Sept. 11, at approximately 7:00 p.m., a black 2011 Ford Flex SUV belong to Mr. Jordan was located abandoned on Interstate 95 southbound at exit 79 in the City of Richmond.

Police also said that the next day Mr. Jordan’s phone was located at a building in the 2400 block of Westwood Avenue.

Mr.  Jordan is on a transplant list and scheduled for transplant surgery in the following week.

Police believe he may be in medical distress possibly in the Richmond metropolitan area.

Mr. Jordan is a 51-year-old black male,  5’ 9″ in height and he weighs around 155 lbs.
