The search was called off shortly after 11 p.m. Tuesday night. No suspect reported in custody.
Police sources tell CBS 6 that a police chase originated out of Colonial Heights around 7 p.m. Tuesday night.
The police chase went into southern Chesterfield. Sources say that the vehicle crashed and the victim is still evading police.
CBS 6 viewers have contacted the station, saying that there is a police plane circling over homes in southern Chesterfield, and a canine search is underway.
A viewer in Walthall Creek subdivision said that they were told by police to stay inside. Police sources have confirmed with CBS 6 that they are in that area.
