HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – The FBI SWAT team arrested a North Carolina man wanted for shooting a teenager, according to Ahoskie, N.C. Police Chief Troy Fitzhugh. Details about the arrest have not yet been released.

Terrence Devonne Faison, 35, was arrested Friday morning. Earlier this week police put on a “be on the lookout” alert for Faison who was known to frequent Central Virginia.

Faison is accused of shooting a 16-year old boy in Hertford County, N.C. on Tuesday.  Police said Faison shot the teen through the window of an apartment.

The teen’s cousin told WTKR.comthat the 16-year-old victim ran to her apartment after he was hit.

“He just opened the door and fell on the floor and said, ‘Ya’ll take me to the hospital. I’ve been shot,’” the cousin said. The teen was airlifted to Norfolk General Hospital. Doctors have not yet released the shooting victim’s condition.

Faison, who was convicted of murdering his step-father in 1995, was released from prison in 2004.
