Rep. Cantor ‘impressed’ with Hanover school

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) - House Majority Leader Rep. Eric Cantor (R - Virginia) toured the Hanover Center for Trades & Technology on Wednesday.

"This is a first-class facility here in Hanover County. It is clear there's a real commitment here in Hanover County to provide kids with choices," Rep. Cantor said. "Here we are seeing the importance of stressing the skills necessary to meet the demands of employers today."

Teachers at the Mechanicsville center train to students with skills like automotive technology, cosmetology and HVAC repair.
