Dinwiddie deputies investigate 2-month-old’s death

DINWIDDIE COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) — Sheriff’s deputies in Dinwiddie County are investigating the death of a two-month girl.

Officials were called to a home in the 25000 block of Sterling Road in the northern end of Dinwiddie County Monday morning for a report of an unresponsive two-month-old.

Deputies found the two-month-old dead when they arrived.

The child’s body was transported to the medical examiner’s office in Richmond for an autopsy to determine cause of death.

Officials said they are investigating the incident and that no charges have been filed.
