MEMPHIS, TN (WREG)—A distraught neighbor captured this horrible case of animal cruelty on tape, and turned the images over to police.
A Memphis man was arrested after police say he starved his dog and allowed her 11 puppies to die in the driveway, reported our affiliates WREG.
Police arrested Migel Martinez Wednesday night at his home and charged him with aggravated animal cruelty. His pit bull mix dog was also taken by Animal Control.

Officers said the female dog did not have any food or water, and her bones were visible under her skin.
A neighbor said he called police after he watched the dog bury her last puppy.
The man, who will remain unidentified, told affiliates WREG that he tried for nearly three days to get Martinez to do something about the puppies, and even offered to take all of the dogs.
He also attempted to intervene by providing food and water to the mother, but said she was too emaciated to give her puppies any milk.
He took cellphone video of the dog burying some of her puppies.
“It was just sad, though, because she had a dog in her mouth and was looking for somewhere to put the dog and she was just digging a hole,” the man said.
The neighbor also called the Humane Society, but an animal cruelty investigator was not scheduled to check on the animals until sometime today, reported WREG.
