Bob Windsor has had enough of the restaurant business.

The local contractor and restaurateur is selling his Boo’s Brown Bag deli in the Fan. The business at 1201 W. Main St. went on the market this week at an asking price of $55,000.

Boo’s Brown Bag is the second eatery Windsor has put up for sale this month. He and his partner put EAT by Pescados restaurant in Oregon Hill on the market in early August.

“I just decided in the last few months I’m going to sell my stuff and go back to being a contractor,” said Windsor, who also runs Bob Windsor Construction. “You have to be there 24/7, and I just can’t be. It just takes all my focus away from what I’ve done for 43 years.”

Boo’s Brown Bag opened in January in a 1,100-square-foot space at Main and Morris streets. It was posted for sale in a Craigslist adon Wednesday.
