Teens, time is running out to enter NOT4ME video challenge
Recent studies show that 75 percent of youth between the ages of 12 and 20 are non-drinkers. However, it will take a community-wide effort to drive that number even higher.
CBS 6, in collaboration with Loveland Distributing, is hosting the NOT4ME video challenge to discourage underage drinking.
Any actively-enrolled high school student in Central Virginia can enter the NOT4ME contest by creating a 20-second video based on the NOT4ME theme. [BONUS: Click here to connect with NOT4ME on Facebook]
Prizes will be awarded to the top two contestants and to the first place winner’s teacher. Plus, the winning video will be broadcast live during the 56th Annual Grammy Awards.
“CBS 6 is committed to increasing public awareness and the harmful effects of underage drinking,” WTVR General Manager Stephen Hayes said. “Our priority is to empower and encourage our youth to act responsibly, and this campaign helps support our mission.”
The contest kicked off on Sept. 17. Click here to enter.
