100th Anniversary of the Chesterfield County Fair, August 23rd – August 31st, at the County Fairgrounds across from L. C. Bird High School, at Krause and Courthouse Roads. The fair features Tigers, bears and Ligers (half Lion half Tiger) GXW pro wrestling, A SEBRA sanctioned championship Extreme Bull Riding competition, and returning an Elvis Tribute by Keith Henderson, and many other attractions. Fair hours are 4-11pm weekdays, Saturday 11am-11pm and Sunday 1-11pm, for more details,  www.chesterfieldcountyfair.org.

10th Annual Movin’ and Groovin’ 5K Run & 2 Mile Walk to benefit help Pancreatic Cancer Research, Saturday, August 24, at Dorey Park in Eastern Henrico. Kids Fun Run kicks off at 8am followed by the 5K Run & 2 Mile Walk at 8:15am or you can be a Virtual Runner/Walker. Registration is $25 and $30 for Virtual entry and registration will be accepted on day of the event.
