Police: Robbery suspect pilfered phones, memory cards and cash

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) — Richmond police are searching for a robbery suspect that smashed his way into a cell phone store in the city over the weekend.

Police said the man shown in the above surveillance photos broke into the Mega-Tel Wireless at 2905 Chamberlayne Avenue around 4:14 a.m. Sunday by throwing a large stone through the window.

The suspect then got into the store and made off with phones, memory cards and cash before running off toward Hawthorne Avenue.

Theman is described as a black male with a slim build wearing a black cap with white design, a dark-colored shirt, blue jeans and grey and black shoes.
