RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Nearly 4,000 VCU freshmen will begin their descent upon the school’s Richmond campus this weekend. Freshmen move in will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, according to the university. Roads around VCU dorms will be blocked to traffic for safety reasons.

VCU said 86 percent of its freshman class is from Virginia. Twenty percent of the class is made up of students from Central Virginia and 37 percent are from Northern Virginia.
