LA CRESCENTA, Calif. (WTVR) – A California daycare worker was arrested after police said a two-year-old in her care ended up high on marijuana.
Fifty-year-old Roubena Hartounian was taken into custody Wednesday on suspicion of child neglect and endangerment at the daycare she ran from her home.
Police arrested Hartounian after the child’s parents said they noticed their daughter looked lethargic when they picked her up from the daycare.
Hospital tests confirmed the little one had pot in her system.
The daycare has been shut down.
