NEW ORLEANS (WTVR) -TheVillalobos Rescue Center in New Orleans has turned to Facebook to solve a mystery after a dog was found tied to a fence in their parking lot last night.
“Do you know this dog?” the center posted on Facebook. “Turns out she is microchipped from a vet’s office in Richmond, VA. Unfortunately the chip was not registered and because it’s a chip from 2006, they don’t have records that far back. So the mystery continues. Did the actual owners dump this dog on us last night? Did they maybe give her to someone else and they dumped her? Did she get lost or stolen in VA and end up out here? If someone recognizes her, please contact us. But in the meantime she will be staying at our Crescent City Canine Cottage with a broken heart wondering what she did wrong to deserve this. For now we will call her Miss Virginia.”
