RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – CBS 6 Storm Team Meteorologist Mike Stone says a stationary front will continue to sit over our area Sunday.

Clouds will break for some sun at times this afternoon with highs in the mid to upper 80s.

There will be more scattered storms around again this afternoon.  They will not impact all areas, but the storms that do form will produce very heavy rainfall and isolated strong wind gusts.

It will stay muggy tonight with some areas of fog and lows near 70°.  If skies clear enough, you might be able to see the Perseid meteor shower.
