Robbers armed with pump shotgun hit Chesterfield McDonald’s

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va (WTVR) -- Early Friday morning Chesterfield police responded to a robbery at the  McDonald's at 14540 Hancock Village Street at about 1:30 a.m. today. No one was injured during the incident.

Police said two men, armed with a single long gun, entered the store and approached employees. The suspects ordered the victims to the ground. The suspects took cash from the restaurant and items from the victims before fleeing the scene.

The first suspect is described as a black male, about 16-25 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall and 150 pounds. He was wearing blue jeans, a red sweater, a white T-shirt and red shoes. He also wore a mask and gloves.

The second suspect is described as a black male, about 16-25 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall and 150 pounds. He was wearing white pants with "Hollister" written on them and a blue shirt. He also wore gloves and a mask.

Sources tell CBS 6 one of the suspects was armed with a pump shotgun.

CBS 6 crime expert Steve Neal says their disguises are telling. "Based on what they were wearing. I would not be surprised if they're familiar with the area. Maybe they used to work for this business or know someone who's working there now” said Neal.
