NORFOLK, Va. (WTVR) - Police arrested a Norfolk fast food worker on child porn charges after the man suffered a heart attack while on the job, according to a report on WTKR.com.

Robert Adkison had just celebrated his 40th birthday when he came to work last week at a Sonic in Norfolk. During his overnight shift, Adkison had a heart attack.

Hours later while in the hospital, he called work and asked his boss to put his cell phone in a safe spot, WTKR's Reed Andrews reported.

Adkison was convicted in 2007 on child porn charges and appears on the Virginia Sex Offender registry. It was his frantic and worried tone during that phone call that made his boss suspicious.

When the boss looked on the man's flip phone, he said he found hundreds of graphic images, depicting young boys, around the age of five, inappropriately touching grown men.

Police later searched Adkison’s truck and took another phone, a DVD player and 16 copies of Tidewater Parent Magazine, according to search warrants.
