2-year-old shot in Danville

DANVILLE, Va.(WTVR) — A two-year-old has been hospitalized after being shot Sunday afternoon in Danville.

WDBJ reports police were called to a home in the 700 block of Glendale Avenue around 3 p.m. after a child was shot in the back. The child was driven to the hospital in a car.

The child was reportedly driven by Danville Regional Medical Center and later flown to a hospital in Roanoke.

No one has been charged in connection with the shooting.
