Soon to be centenarian meets RGIII
RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) — A Virginia woman who is about to turn 100 got to spend her birthday at Redskins training camp.
Georgia Poole traveled to camp in Richmond Wednesday from the Northern Neck with one wish: she wanted to see quarterback Robert Griffin III.
When RGIII spotted her, he stopped practice in order to meet her.
“To see someone live to be 100, it’s truly special. So it’s an honor,” said Griffin.
Poole said meeting Griffin and having him autograph her special sign has made her life complete.
Met a lady, who happened to be a redskin fan, today who is 100 years old. Long life is truly a blessing—
