CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) - Police made three more arrests in connection to a violent home invasion-robbery in Chesterfield. A 17-year-old male, Quandrel N. Lassiter, 18, of Richmond, and Jeletha N. Sessions, 22, are now charged with crimes related to the July 30 robbery inside a South Wedgemont Drive home, police said.

The teenager is charged with robbery, abduction and kidnapping, conspiracy to commit a felony and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Lassiter is charged with robbery, grand larceny, conspiracy to commit a felony and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Sessions, who police said lives on Courthouse Road, is charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit a felony and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Earlier this week police arrested and charged two other men in connection with the crime.Police said their investigation remained on-going.

Police said the victim heard noises outside his home about 1:30 a.m. When he looked outside, police said the suspects forced their way into the home, assaulted the man and stole items from the house. They also took his vehicle, police said.

Police said it appeared the victim was "specifically targeted."

“It certainly appears that they were organized and had a plan,” Chesterfield Police Lieutenant Randy Horowitz said about the crime. “One of the suspects had previous business encounters with the victim in this case.  He had worked for a telecommunications company as a salesman.”

Horowitz would not disclose the name of the company because it’s part of the investigation.
