RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR)--On Wednesday, the day before the Washington Redskins training camps opens to the public, QB Robert Griffin III addressed the media.

The complete interview is in the video player.

He spoke about the plan for his activity during training camp, and that he likely won’t be playing in preseason.

Griffin participated in Wednesday’s team conditioning drills with all 90 players. He told the media that he will participate in most training camp drills, but will be sitting out the full contact drills.

He also responded to a question about the Richmond reception.

“It’s been great. We’ve been here for a day and a half now. The fans are really excited that we’re here. I think we’re excited. It’s going to be a lot easier transition going to meetings and coming to practice and just spending time with our teammates getting to know them a little better. Everybody has been really receptive and we look forward to having everybody out here.”
