RICHMOND, VA. (WTVR): The Richmond Concert Band is once again hosting its 14th annual Old Instruments for Young Hands Concert Sunday, July 21, 6pm at Linwood Holton Elementary School. The idea is to collect donated used instruments for Richmond Public Schools.

Richmond Concert Band is asking that you donate any used band or orchestra instruments on Sunday at their concert. In turn the band will deliver the instruments to Richmond Public Schools and they will loan them to students. If you don’t have an old instrument the band will gladly take a donation to buy accessories.

The concert is free and open to the public, you’re encouraged to bring a picnic, lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy the concert. For details visit www.note@rcband.org or www.rcband.org/donate-an-instrument/ or call 804-737-3767.
