RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – City crews are fixing a water main break near Jefferson Avenue and E. Marshall Street, according to Richmond Department of Public Utilities spokeswoman Angela Fountain.

She said the water main break resulted in a “substantial amount of water” on the road about 11:30 a.m. The city cut off water to about 30 customers in order to fix the break. The city does not yet know when the water will be restored to the neighborhood.

The cause of the water main break is under investigation.
