NC mudslide destroys mobile homes, road

AVERY COUNTY, NC (WTVR) - In North Carolina, Avery County emergency officials and the North Carolina Department of Transportation say a mudslide has closed a two mile section of Highway-194 near where a  100 foot section gave way.
Officials said the mudslide also destroyed two mobile homes in its path, but no one was injured.
