Rash of robberies possibly connected

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR)–Investigators believe several recent Richmond robberies are all connected because the same suspect and car description was offered in each incident.

Victims’ offered descriptions that they were robbed by two black males in a burgundy Ford Taurus. The passenger, described as 6 feet tall and heavy set, would get out of the passenger seat and rob the victims with a silver handgun.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.

The robberies occurred from the time period of 12:45 a.m. through 2:15 a.m. on Friday. Below are the five locations where the robberies occurred.

A male reported an unknown male robbed him at gunpoint.
