VIRGINIA THIS MORNING: 48 Hour Film Project

RICHMOND, Va (WTVR) - Calling all would be directors. In Tinseltown actually making  movies can take months or even years to put together, but what if you only had two days to complete one? Are you up for the challenge? This year, thousands of people around the country, including here in Richmond, will work to finish entire films from casting, filming and editing all in 48 hours. Samantha Tucker, the Richmond Producer for the project shared more details. There is a meet and greet on Tuesday, July 9th at 5:30pm at Sine Irish Pub. The competition starts Friday, July 12th at 6pm at The Camel 1621 West Broad Street. You have until Sunday, July 14th at 7:30pm to submit your films back at The Camel. The premiere screenings will be Saturday, July 20th and Sunday, July 21st at 1:30pm and 4:00-pm at The Historic Byrd Theatre 2908 West Cary Street.
