RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - A slow-moving cool front will gradually slide south through Virginia Tuesday into Wednesday. Today, we'll stay on the south side of that front, in the very warm and muggy air-mass. Keep your umbrella handy today for periods of showers and thunderstorms tracking through central Virginia. Today isn't a wash-out, but when you do get the thunderstorms, you can expect frequent lightning and heavy downpours. Afternoon highs will range from the lower 80s to the north to around 90° southeast.
