The race is part of the National Marrow Donor Program.
The money raised from this event will go towards patients with blood cancers, like leukemia.
The organizer's goal is to put patients on the path to receive life-saving transplants.
CBS 6 is a sponsor for the event.
The event will be held at 9 a.m. in Monroe Park next Saturday.
