Law enforcement kicks off Special Olympics

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) — Law enforcement officers lighted the “Flame of Hope” and took the Special Olympic’s torch for a run on Thursday afternoon.

The kickoff to the Special Olympic games at the University of Richmond that will be held on June 7 and 8.

More than 100 officers from across Virginia are participating in the 1900-mile law enforcement torch run.
