RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) — Richmond fire crews evacuated the 15-story West Hospital building in downtown Richmond Thursday afternoon after a water leak, according to Richmond Fire spokesman Lt. Robbie Hagaman. The building is located at 1200 East Broad Street.

Hagaman said the leak happened around 11:40 a.m. on the building’s fourth floor.

The building was evacuated due to electrical concerns, Hagaman said. There were no injuries and no fire reported.

The leak was marked under control just after 1 p.m. and workers were allowed back inside.
