RICHMOND, Va (WTVR) - Every year, thousands are diagnosed with blood cancers, and a marrow transplant is their best bet at life. Be The Match is the largest registry of potential bone marrow donors. William Johnson, a marrow transplant recipient, who shares his personal story and Dr. John Mccarty, Medical Director of the Bone Marrow Transplant Program at VCU Massey Cancer Center joined us. 'Be The Match' is having their walk and run on Saturday, June 1st in Monroe Park.
