RICHMOND, VA (WTVR): On the 2nd Tuesday of every month you can bet that the music coming from Capital Ale House Downtown Music Hall is Jazz Music. The Guest Educators Series is a monthly fundraiser for the Richmond Jazz Society and on Tuesday, May 14, the series features James “Saxsmo” Gates” and his new CD release “Gates Wide Open” to jazz fans.
You can expect a short education of Jazz happenings in and around Richmond followed by two shows at 7 & 9:30pm. Gates will perform cuts from his latest CD as well as from his previous other CD’s.
