HENRICO COUNTY, Va (WTVR)- At the Richmond Antique Extravaganza and Sale at the Richmond Raceway Complex, some of the dealers are as interesting as their historic wares.

These people have a passion for their products. They are part salesmen, showmen and historians, with a love to share the back story.

They deal from the low end to the very high end, with everything and anything in-between.

It’s a world of constant surprises – one for those with a taste for haggling and an eye for what has lasting value. Even the items they use to showcase their wares can have their own stories.

Those that deal at very top end live in a different world than  most of us.

But they all do it because antiques have become a part of their very fabric.

Jeanne Kroeger survived one vicious bout of cancer and is in the midst of battling another one. She’s here from Georgia because it’s her best bet to stay alive, being with those who also cherish interesting things from the past.

She joins 100 dealers from New England to Florida. The show continues through Sunday.
