RICHMOND, Va (WTVR) - Do you remember your favorite teacher? Virginia Home for Boys and Girls is a nonprofit organization focusing on child and family services. Student Rockeem Thomas,15, wrote a letter of thanks to his English teacher, Ms. Lisa Scott-Derrah and she has been named the local winner of the ‘Barnes and Noble My Favorite Teacher Contest. Rockeem Thomas and Lisa Scott-Derrah will be honored on Saturday, May 11th at Barnes and Nobles at Chesterfield Towne Center.
